Tandoori Chicken

Since BBQ Season is starting I thought that this recipe would be more appropriate.......

Classic Tandoori Chicken
Ingredients:
Oven Ready Chicken
Cup of Natural Yogurt
4 tbsp. tandoori masala paste (you can get this usually from an Indian Store. If you live in the Washington DC area there should be a couple in the Silver Spring, MD area)
6tbsp of Clarified Butter (you can also use regular butter)
Salt
Salad Leaves, Onions, and Lemon Juice for Garnish

STEPS
1)Remove the fat from the chicken, and make Diagonal Gashes in the Chicken
2)Mix the yogurt, masala paste, and salt. Spread this evenly across the chicken and into some of the gashes (so the masala can get into the chicken) and leave overnight or a couple of hours
3)Grill (more appropriate for summer) or bake the chicken. Preheat both to maximum heat and let chicken cook with any excess marinade, for approximatly 20 min.
4) Melt the clarified butter and cook over for 10 minutes
5)Put the cooked chicken pieces in a dish and garnish the salad leaves, lemon juice, and onion slices
And you are all done :)
